the two similar photos came up one after another for me in voting, think having the hole not centered would improve this for me, feels static and the B&W treatment gives lots of similar tones

This came out nice, like how you're both facing the camera and have sharp eyes. Also like how you cropped this with only half the face. Think the B&W treatment on this works well.
