A gel or filter for flash unit. A glass for surface. |

Ok, but now you have me curious -- I just got a 580, as well, and was thinking I should try water drops again now that I have it. I know you can increase the sync speed on the flash, did you try that and it still didn't work?

Since flash is the only light source, the shutter speed doesn't matter that much. As you can see my shutter speed for this was very slow but the flash froze the motion. I didn't try high speed sync, I guess it won't help.
My old fashion flash is a 20 year old unit, there was no TTL flash at that time I think. |
