I think if you're going to include the stuffed animal in the portrait, you need to give it equal weight - i.e. too dark on the bear.

The bamboo really detracts from an otherwise beutiful portrait. Also, is it the lens or the angle of the shot that makes her face seem unnaturally wide?

PDG for a pet shot:) Excellent lighting, and you really got him/her to focus nicely off into the distance. I'm guessing you set the timer and walked away from the camera? Good discipline! (NOT YOU, the DOG!)

You caught a great moment here. I like the lighting a lot. You must have shot at a fairly high iso to avoid motion blur at such low lighting. How'd you avoid the grain?
