Day 1: Road Work

I really like your processing and am going to have to try out the LucisArt filter. I've never even heard of the Imagenonic Portraiture filter (is that a reference to Imogen Cunningham?) What does that do? Guess I'll try that one, too. One of the things I love about todays lenses is the auto focus that allows us to just point in the general direction and, "click", we've go a great shot. Sure worked here. Congrats on the new position. I love Sante Fe. Great place to live and/or work.

I like how you've captured the essence of this person's personality without even showing her. She has an open door policy and trusts everyone to come in. She has a lot going on, but she keeps it orderly and accessible. She's woodsy, but prefers living in the midst of others. She has her dark side, but is bright and cheery most of the time. How'd I do?

Great candid moment and the fact that it is in B&W makes it seem even more documentary in nature. Nice use of contrast to add to the sense of discovery of a clandestine moment.

Beautiful shot Henk-Jan (I hope that's right). Great job on the HDR. Love all the textures in this - the foreground grass is so wispy, and the fluffy clouds feel so soft and gentle.

Day2 - Steamin'

Really like this composition with the three big tree trunks balancing the forest behind.
One of my most used adjustments is the Shadow/Highlight under Image (in CS2) because it really works to bring out the detail in the shadows. It also, somehow, serves to sharpen the details of my images.
