This reddish/brown water color is what happens in the ocean, near where rivers and stream water enter the ocean, after heavy rains in the mountains.

Sorry to hear about the X issues, hopefully things will go smoothly & be done with.

On the picture note, the different colors in the water look pretty neat.

Ouch on the ex problems. That stuff is never easy, but, take it from one who knows, it does get better with time. Wonderful you can express your feelings through your pictures. It comes across.

I think you've really captured the emotion well. It's unfortunate these things happen, but realize that it's for the best and it will get better.

Sorry to hear about your bad day. You managed to capture your emotions rather well with the water.

I'm sorry you're going through a rough time. It will pass - rough times always do, eventually. This photo does illustrate well what you are feeling.

Is that red algae, or is it stirred up sediment?

Where do you live? That is weird about the change in the water color. Seems a bit cloudy and gray outside today, eh?

found greg's comment quite amusing .. gotta say that coz he's sitting right behind me!!!
sorry about the mess going on in your life .. i hope things sort themselves out to the satisfaction of all ... its a total bummer when ppl break up with 'bad' feelings, especially when they act on them ..
the water does look like shit to me too .. think you got your point across very well ... all murky, and hard to discern .. nothing dramatic .. just blahhhhhhhhhhh ... :)

Sorry, not enough churning to get my point across.

Thats ok Sean we call it s@#t over here. And by the way I felt the same way when it happened to me. The only difference was it was my bank account. Oh well... C'est la vie. Maybe you could buy her a barb wire canoe (without a paddle) and wish her Bon Voyage.
