Flower potby Rino63Comment: Nice, i enjoy the darkening of the sky to the right, the two flecks of rock on the sand detract from the picture, but otherwise nice. |

Deadly Combinationby steffyldComment: Using a higher F/stop would have had more of the picture in focus. Oh! using Dr. Pepper in the coke glass is a great twist :-P |

The Shotby steffyldComment: Natural light was on the wrong side to bring out their chests, a shutter of 1/500th would stop it better on their fingers, but the bit of motion blur adds to the speed of their motions. Not knowing how far you were from the players, a strobe might have punched up your subjects contrast and using a rear sync on that flash puts the motion blur behind the direction of motion and makes then more natural. |

Yellowstone Nightby steffyldComment: For long image exposures set the long exposure noise reduction. It takes a second exposure of the back of the shutter and subtracts the artifacts from the original exposure. as for noise, bah look at a iso 1600 piece of film :-P |

Rainbow Shotby steffyldComment: :-) Nice shot, good job on eking a 9 out of me, first place got a nine from me too :-)
Was it the beating stick you used to light up the glasses :-)
Knowing the camera you used, when you get more control with your next planned camera, you will be brining in the ribbons soon. I agree with ursula the DOF is what was off, can you set your aperture higher? |
