Galleryby davidbedardComment: This image has such a painterly feel to it that I almost think it's a photograph of a painting or you applied a filter in PS. Did you? I like the color and the perspective showing all the windows of the gallery. |

Guitarby rickhd13Comment: Almost my pic exactly without the rose (see my parrallel lines submission "Flamenco). Not sure I like the square format for this subject but I do like the lighting (much better than mine) as well as the color. Overall, I think an improvement compared to my submission. |

Cute Little Pussy Catby browntComment: Lighting is quite harsh and it looks a bit overexposed to me with some small hot spots. Also the image appears to suffer from soft focus (subject movement?) and too narrow DOF. I think a bit less exposure with a smaller aperature could have benefited the image. Would be very curious to see your exposure settings. |

Glowing Daffodilby uberjuveComment: The colors are good and I like the haunted and eerie feel to this image, as well as, the silhouetted tree in the background and the way it helps to frame the flowers. I do however think the lighting is too strong on the top most flower and the top of the tree is lit up with detail and disrupts the silhouette effect. Still, a very compelling and artistic expressive photo. Well done. |

Sugar Mountainsby ImagineerComment: Absolutely stunning and very dramatic image with the way you've captured the lighting and the blowing snow/mist. I like the way you included the trees at the bottom to give a sense of scale and the image is also very well balanced compositionally. I love it...very welll done. Bravo. |

Golden Tranquilityby LtHousLadyComment: Spectacular image with very dramatic lighting. Composition is also very well done as I like the perspective here and the way your eye is led from the foreground stones to the tuft of golden grass and then on to the lighthouse. Richly colored sky as well...done with a polarizer? My only nitpick would be that the horizon line is too centered. Picture perfect post card image. Very well done. |

Path Way to the Cityby dinnComment: Wonderful clarity and lighting really makes this photo for me. The path and center building are a bit too centered but still a remarkable image. Well done. |

Spring Tulipby torrenzanoComment: Beautiful rich and saturated color but I think the lighting is a bit strong as the yellow flower is almost to the point of some hot spots. Still, the color is equisite and I like the image. |

Wheel in the Entertainmentby TrinchComment: Very difficult lighting conditions. Judging by your title it would appear the clown on the stand is your subject, but it's hard to tell what to really look at in this picture as it's too busy and there are other distracting elements within the scene. In addition, your subject is blurred which further confuses the issue. I think it could have been improved by focusing on your subject and blurring the background some to help isolate your subject and also metering on the portion of the image in shadow to help narrow your range of contrast. |
