There are several things that hurt this image. The sign is crooked in the frame. I has digital flaws like noise and focus hallos around the letters. It needs to have more interest like shadows or lighting on the sign that set a mood to distinguish it from every other stop sign.

You captured a good moment but the focus is very poor. That does not work well. This image also has a down-side quality that occurs frequent with automatic cameras... the background is in better focus than the main subject. Unfortunately that is almost impossible to see until you load it on your computer. It is good to take more than one shot of a subject to get a good one.

You picked a nice subject but the focus and overal image quality is not particularly good. Sometimes you have to work within the limits of your particular camera to produce its best results.

This would benefit greatly if the background noise were reduced with NeatImage or another process. Better yet, you would do better to have a more nontraditional arrangement of the awards and a different background. An image like this always is of more personal interest than anything else. Focus on the leftmost trophy is not good. It is more like a snapshot than anything. I entered an award image in a challenge and it did very poorly.
