The birds are backby pcodyComment: Pet pictures get a bad rap at DPC because most are gratuitous and deserve it, but your image is exceptionally good. Composition and technical quality are outstanding. The view of the cat staring longingly out through the window gets your message across in a creative way. Great work. |

Friends in Malibuby deadd0gComment: I gave this image a good score because of the angle it is taken from to produce a wonderful silhouette, but the ocean horizon should be level. |

Sunset Flightby QuadrajetComment: I like this image a lot because of the time of day you took it. I might have cropped off everything below the tallest tree to make it look like the biker flew into heaven. |

Joshua Treeby sfarrell23Comment: It is very difficult to capture an image with a lot of fine detail without pixelation. You have succeeded marvelously while retaining sharp focus in a well composed image. You must teach me the secret! :) This is superior landscape photography. |

Backcountry Patrol Footwear?by BeagleboyComment: Wonderful work. You, unlike most people who use this method, know when and what to desaturate to one color for proper effect. The lighting, shadows, composition and technical quality of this image is outstanding.
I'll be really curious to see what you submitted for the out-of-place challenge. :) |

Spring has arrived !!by thomkatComment: Wonderful perspective. Sure looks like Mexican Poppies to me and could that be greened up desert there in the backgound? You have inspired me. I've started a desert wildflower photo gallery and will try to capture a similar perspective to add to my collection. |

"DRY DOCK"by FreebieComment: I get the strong sense there was a great deal of contrast between the sky and the boats in the original picture and that is why there is haloing around the boats caused by post processing. I applogize if you did this by design, but if it was unintended and you'd like to get rid of it I can suggest a method. |

Spring Sprungby jimmythefishComment: Very interesting composition. The bright area of the flower surrounded by a darkened background gives image the feeling of a Stephen King novel. Great job. |
