Modern technologyby mightythorComment: Falls within the challenge parameters and has originality, but lacks - er - context? and composition. |

Finaleby MiamiFluteComment: Nice, but more story-telling than visual composition. 6 for meeting the challenge |

Rusticby AranchaComment: Meets challenge - good lines and composition, very good lighting and texture. Maybe could have used an e.g. metal or ceramic object to balance up against - just a thought. 8 |

Getting Supper Readyby benhurComment: Meets challenge. Is tidily composed, although it makes more of a story than a picture. Nice lighting, but is the cheese a bit plastic-y? Could be over sharpened, or too small a radius on the USM (sez he, ignorantly)
7 for the neatness. |

No Bordersby phinbobComment: Oops - confession time. I misread the title and took it to mean no borders as in 'stand by to repel boarders'. My bad, sorry. Maybe sans frontières might have helped?
Edited for - er - would you believe, spelling? Message edited by author 2006-05-17 08:54:42. |

(Angel of the North.) Englandby judojoeComment: Yeah, borders are a no no. I actually liked this border, for what it's worth, as it complements the picture's composition, but you could call it gilding the lily.
Like the picture, like the colour(s), like the Angel of the North. |

Little Girl Lostby TrynityRoseComment: In a million years or so you might find some way to improve on this - can't think why you'd want to though. |

Does Not Meet Challengeby amandaloreComment: You asked for comments on low scores (4 from me). The competency of the picture is fine - it's in focus, well put together, I don't have to squint at it and so on. I guess I'm more than a little hung up on the principle of pictures being visual things and depending on a visual language. Taking a picture of a word (or acronym) spoils that. So there is self fulfilling prophecy in your alphabeti spaghetti there... |
