Lovely model. I may be wrong, but the blur appears to have been created, or accentuated, in post, as there appears to be incongruencies of in and out of focus areas. If I'm wrong, strong work with the shallow DOF!

Deep DOF, High Key, Portrait

Lovely portrait, very emotive. Ignoring the challenge topic I would score this very high. This definitely does not qualify as a deep DOF. You have a wonderfully blurred background and out of focus hair. It's difficult for me to see the focal point other than the nose and lips. I also do not consider this high key as you have a reasonably broad range of tones from pure black to almost white. A high key image should produce a histogram that is shifted greatly to the right. I'm giving you a 5 because I really like the portrait, emotion, and processing. Great job. (my choice would have been: portrait, rule of third (eyes), and soft focus)

Didn't vote, but I would have given you a 6. As mentioned, the storytelling is present. I enjoy low key work and I like the lighting on your daughter in the large panel. If I had to nitpick one point, I don't like the placement and tilt of the window frame. Awkward when compared to her position. I see the main frame in landscape orientation, cropping out the upper half of the window, with the other frames above her (rotated appropriately of course!). Still quite serene as is, and I can see how you would not be happy with the score when you are averaging 6!!! ;)
