And, she's my baby sister... She's a starving artist that came to visit for my sons birthday.. She really is this gorgeous.. And sweet, and talented..

Linky to some of her art for sale:

BTW, the blur was done in post and I didn't read the challenge very carefully.. It's not meant to blend... it's meant to be abrupt and off... she likes things to be different, so I went with it.. It was done very intentional and although most if not all will disagree with it, when it's printed with a texture over it as it will be, it has a total different effect... Oh, and I also didn't read the fact that the techniques needed to be done "in camera"... lol... this was a big oopsy on my part...

Lovely model. I may be wrong, but the blur appears to have been created, or accentuated, in post, as there appears to be incongruencies of in and out of focus areas. If I'm wrong, strong work with the shallow DOF!

This is terrific. Love the focus on the eye and the necklace. Love the almost all the way blurred shoulders. The dark frame of the mirror in the background detracts from what otherwise is near perfect.

I would have made the necklace a bit softer - it competes with her lovely eyes.

This photo is suffering from over edit. I don't think you blended your blur very well...especially at the part where it gets into her hair. It had the potential to be a top photo in the challenge. The skin is nice and smooth just the blur should mesh better.

A portrait with a wow factor! I just love the shiny colors and detail in the medallion. I also like the selective sharpness, although it shows that they're not naturally out of focus area's but manually blurred in PS.
The effect and impact of an image is what counts for me, not the way it is achieved. Welldone!
