Homeby CorySmithComment: Yup, thats Al Asad. I was there in 2004-2005. Amazing how secure you can feel on that base, that is until the rockets start hitting. Beautiful shot! |

Fly with The Royal Navyby TiNComment: Great shot, but not a very motivational title, one thing I have learned in my time in the service is that the duel blade choppers defy the science of flight, in that the blades are supposed to cancel out lift between one another. Maybe for the title it would have been better to put something like "When we deny all the rules that bind us to this earth we will truly learn to fly" or something like that. Also food for thought on photographing aircraft, always try to capture the movment of the blades, usually dropping your shutter speed to something like 1/250 through 1/100 just to give enough motion blur to recognize the aircraft is flying and not falling. |

Creative Blockby smurfguyComment: HAHA, great shot of a brick wall, funny title. I would love to see one where one brick is missing and someone is peering through, to give a bit of hope to those who have that creative block. |
