let me show you the wayby gocComment: I usually don't care for shallow DOF. But here I think it works. I'm backwards I guess, 'cause I know a lot of people love shallow DOF but would think that this shot has your subject blurry / out of focus. But I really feel that there is emphasis on the sidewalk for a reason - like the kid really is showing the way. I do wish that the figure on the left were more in the frame but other than that I like this a bunch. |

Ocean Pathwayby BalkoComment: Awesome colors - they look rich without seeming to me to be oversaturated. |

tesnuSby facesastheycomeComment: Way less negative space at the bottom would have made this stronger for me. |

Still Life With Lemonsby De SousaComment: Generally I do not mind visible ribs, having been very thin for a long time myself. Here I think because the ribcage is in the center of the shot, the pattern of shadows competes for attention. Possibly light from a different angle, or angling the body would help? Or really, just a different composition would probably do a lot, since it wouldn't be in the center anymore. But I do realize that would make your shot totally different, and I do like it. (I should also add that I think the body is beautiful! Very graceful and elegant.)
Oh gosh, I just noticed the ring on the lemon on the left! How totally awesome!!
I think you did a great job with lighting. The dark areas of the body on the right and left blend into the negative space in a really cool way. The colors are great. This is an image where it looks like the levels are a bit off but instead of that being a problem, it actually works very nicely. |

Flower Girlby LalliSigComment: Oh how CUTE!! I like the detail of the flowers - nicely done. I also like how they are only on one side of the body, because having some of the skin un-marked helps things not to be a big abstract colorful blur. |

Pleasure by AnastasiaComment: A circular darker spot on the small of the back is a bit distracting but other than that, this is just perfect. Very very beautiful lighting, composition, and subject. |
