This didnt work well for me. The focus is not good and the colors are oversaturated. Just not enough detail in the flowers and the background is just too distracting and odd. The actual setup and placement of the flowers works - good angle and empty space around - but not enough to give it a better score. (I hope that didnt sound too harsh - just my opinion).

I gave you a 6 on this one. I think it was just a bit too busy. You probably could have gotten away with a couple less bell peppers - maybe stuck with just one of each variety. Overall the colors seem a bit dull. Brighter colors and a different arrangement of the peppers would have given you a better score in my opinion.

I didnt much care for this one. The DOF leaves me feeling a bit woozy. ( although that may have been your intended effect). Would have liked to have seen more detail inthe droplets maybe. And I think tweaking and bringing out colors would have helped out as well - giving the whole shot another dimension. Looking at the original I am not sure if you could have gotten color out of it. Maybe a tighter crop to get rid of some of the intense blur as well.

Spooky and yet still cool. This was (and still is) a very hard challenge to vote and comment on. I gave you a 6 on this but was probably borderline 7. Glad you went with b&w treatment as I dont think color would have helped this. Cool funky shot and I couldnt really tell you how to improve it. Crop is good. Background shading works well and I like how the shirt looks inverted. Good shot.

First off - congrats on your top 15 photo. Well done. THere were so many shots that did NOT work well in this challenge. Yours was far from it. Great colors, cool textures on the statue and the background looks great. You have a well balanced, well done shot here. (Pushing you out of the middlin again).

Cool looking flower. The colors overall are a bit too saturated for my tastes and maybe a bit oversharpened (although I think over saturation sometimes has the same effect). I didnt dislike this shot (I gave a 6) but it also didnt stand out. 46th place is great placing though.
