Earth tonesby MelethiaComment: Trading Post -
Nice shot overall Deb. You have a knack for these warm, earth tone type shots. Great long shadow and nice overall lighting. Would like to have seen more of the room but this still works well and easily fits the challenge. My eyes are drawn secondarily to the reflections in the window. Cloning those out may have been nice - but probably a very minor point. Good shot and who can complain about another 6.+ score. |

Don't Feed the Gatorsby ericwooComment: Trading Post -
I gave this shot a 6 but may have been on the edge of giving it a 7 now that I look at it again. I like the concept and the overall capture. I think what takes away from it for me at least is the hue of the green stuff. I realize that it is probably pretty true to real life but I think a slightly more green/less yellow may have made this a bit easier on the eyes. With basic editing this may have been tough with trying to keep the gator a good shade. Nice sharpness on hte face and the background/foreground blur work well. The camouflage aspect makes you stick around a bit longer than most pics just to figure out all that is there. A good shot overall especially under basic editing restrictions. Tough to leave the string of 6s behind though - I can totally relate. |

Time of Death IIby nards656Comment: Trading Post -
First off - Welcome back to the fold!!! We have missed you. Now on to business. I scored this a 5. I didnt look back at the original, but I think this would have been better had the whole watch face been sharp. The color on the watch looks good and on my monitor I can see the gun just fine. I guess it is just the concept that left me a bit flat - just didnt grab me.
Quick comparison to original - I think your postprocess work was better on this one but theconcept was better on the original. Hope any of this helps. |

Dark Fallsby SJCarterComment: I like this alot. Great feel to it. Looking forward to seeing what you pull off for 30 sec+ challenge. There arent many waterfalls here in Columbus. Seems like you have many to choose from. Good luck and keep pumping out the awesome work. |

Velvetby sherpetComment: This is my favorite of the three "velvet" shots. The lines and detail seem to be the best here (although velvet trunk is close behind). The black background highlights the funky colors and textures very well which is what I think the magenta shot is lacking. These have an almost digital art feel to them, but considering your past work and variations I am guessing that these may be pretty close to out of camera with only tweaks on the colors. Cool stuff Shez (and as always I would love to see the originals).
Oh yes, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! |

Watch Your Feetby faidoiComment: Fantastic shot. B&W is great. I have a daughter that is probably just a bit older and I would love a shot of her like this. |

The Starboard Watchby tmhallingComment: Cool shot. A bit blown out on the middle guy but the low key aspect of it all works well. 19 to go - good luck! |
