cedarlake-pan.jpgby wavelengthComment: Cool landscape. This may have stood out a bit stronger with a little more blue cast to the skyline. But overall this shot is about hte pristine reflection which you captured nicely. |

PICT0426.jpgby wavelengthComment: Cool macro shot. Great colors overall and nice detail in the flower head. Maybe a bit more saturation on the bug to make him look even more alienlike than he already does. |

PICT2597.jpgby wavelengthComment: From thumbnail this didnt look good at all. I thought I was going to open it up and see just a blurry mess. But I was surprised to see the shot that I did. I like the shadow power lines alongside the actual visible lines going to the door. The ground is a bit too dark - maybe just the time of day you hit it. Overall interesting shadow work. |

artisan_pride_portrait-dodgeNburn.jpgby wavelengthComment: I prefer this one to your original entry. I think the crop works well to bring the picture together. The movement of his hand and the movement of the flame are a good compliment. I dont think this shot would be as strong without the flame as it brings together the whole process of the blacksmith. The color tones on the blacksmith have a good rustic feel. I like this shot alot. |

Mickey to the Rescueby nards656Comment: Trading Post - Reading your intentions on the perception of this shot after the fact helps make the processing make sense. I dont think i got it during the challenge. Pretty funky colors and the shadow really stands out. I am sure it is not what voters were looking for though. |

Beyond Understandingby nards656Comment: Trading Post - I must say that I didnt get this one during challenge and I still struggle a bit now. I could tell that you were shooting for something but wasnt quite sure what. The processing was over the top and made it a bit hard to look at. So what is the purpose of the black? |

Flight of the Beeby chaliceComment: Trading Post - Not a bad shot. Way to go on catching a flying bee. I think if you could have caught him in focus and had the flower be your bokeh in front you may have scored some more points. Nice colors and the background bokeh works pretty good. I think the crop may be just a tad bit too tight as I think I would have liked to have seen the whole head of the flower in the shot. |

Cut, Slowly Falling Apartby tngrndreamComment: Trading POst - Not sure what to tell you on this one. Very flat shot with an odd angle. Not pleasing to look at, even from a point of view of looking at dreary type shots. The subject itself doesnt really hold much interest and the presentation doesnt help. |

Growing Wildby KelliComment: Trading Post - Not a bad flower shot, but the crop really pevents the background bokeh to have any impact on the flower itself. Good color and general detail in the flower head. I think if you had pulled back though to see more of the background you would have scored higher. |
