I'm sorry, but I don't see how you could think this would be a succesful picture. It is not clear what you are photographing, what it is you want to show and how this relates to the challenge. I'm not even talking about the technical aspects of this shot (out of focus, blurry and muted colors), as I assume this is what you were going for.

You'll probably get a DQ for this. But even if not, I don't see how the effect filter would add to the image. Why not just use a tighter crop and/or a more interesting background?

Would've been a nice shot if you bumped the colors a bit. A tighter crop would also have helped, the OOF flower in the background doesn't add anything to the picture.

Not sure if the desat works for this. Higher contrast might improve the shot. Background sky is a bit boring.

Hahaha! Love this one! Really a brainteaser though. It might not appeal to everyone. Had to look a few times myself before I got it. Now that I do, I can't take my eyes off it. Unreal expression and nice post processing.

This shot would work better if you made the rings stand out some more. You can use masks in advanced editing, so yo could have boosted the saturation of only the rings. Apart from that still a nice shot.
