Filling Up in the 50sby daniellenessComment: What a coincidence! We arranged the same composition--except our two gas stations are about 1,100 miles apart. Here is mine (in Los Angeles):

Red Lion plus Tetraethylby onesaintComment: Yes, indeed--this was a popular gas station. In fact, in my research, this is the only outdoor vintage station in LA and Orange Counties. There are some museums with vintage gasoline pumps, by they are all inside lined-up on display which doesn't make for great composition. Good showing (Top 20!). |

Gilmore Gasoline at Earl's Service Stationby PhotologistComment: Originally posted by onesaint: Popular gas station! I was asked not to use a tripod at night there. I like the sepia. Nice work. |
LOL! Yeah, I brought my tripod but left it in the car since there were tons of people walking around there that day. |

My Mid LIfe Crisis Carby JulietNNComment: I like what you did here. I have a soft-spot of MG's. In college I bought an early 70's MG Midget (British green with a gold stripe down each side). I fixed it up a bit and had a blast! |
