Graffiti Playgroundby MarikaComment: I really think this is excellent, combining the colorful grafitti with a silhouette against the sky. Riminds me of the ET movie riding a bicycle silhouetted against the sky, But combined with the color, makes it even better. Our Lakewood skatepark has no grafitti at all.
I'd like to see the camera angle just a little more to the right and lower. To get body from waist up against the sky, and just a slight touch of spotlight on his skateboard-only by an assistent. A Lower angle would make him higher in the air, too. Yes flash, but only to emphasize the skateboard. |

Raissa.....by albc28Comment: I agree with the square crop suggestion below. If you crop out just to the right of the umbrella, it would bring her all important, eyes into the "thirds".
I'd love to see it with some clip-on LED flashlight or a strobe at very low-intensity, lighting the inside of the umbrella. This would add an interesting effect and bring her hair out from the similar dark colors of the umbrella. Just an idea.
Must've been a bright day for 1/4000th, 1/125 or 1/60th with a remote fill-flash from the top-right and bouced off a reflector on the left, may have helped. I like the Red-on-black and background is okay as long as the water horizon is level. |

facets by rozComment: Wow, "Photographically speaking", you've become quite a relentless bug killer since I first emailed you a few years ago. You shoot them with digital kindness. I assume none are harmed unless they become a real pest, like compete for your dinner. |

La Tour Eiffel - France by MelethiaComment: Congratulations, It's an impressive, symmetrical, view of the famous landmark. The eye is drawn to the small buildings and cars in the background at its' base, so that does emphasize the size. |

Boronia Ledifolia & Bee Fly by rozComment: There goes Roz again. I remember emailing you when you had no ribbons. You've come a long way. This one even has a "Rosy" background color. Well done. |
