Well, I have only voted on 7% of the entries. I have to say this blows me away. The colors are amazing. Good luck on a ribbon!

Wow. That is old! Only thing I don't like about this shot is the blue towel for the background. (But I know what it's like to work with what you got!)

I don't think the border helps. It gets lost in the sky. Also it accents the lighter tones and leaves me with a feeling that this shot is just a bit over exposed.

The pole in the middle of this shot is very distracting. Shooting from a different angle would help this shot a lot.

Great perspective and I like the B&W. Only problem is there is a lot of noise in the shot.

Old is kind of a stretch for this. I find new ones like this all the time in my yard. :-) The DOF works well with this shot. It would be very easy for this to get lost in the background but you did a good job of preventing that.

There are a few things that might make this better. First, the frame of the picture is too tight. There are parts of the gun that are almost touching the edge of the picture. The border actually draws your attention to this since it actually touches parts of the gun like the barrel and tire. Second, the color is a little too pink for a sepia effect. More yellow would help this a lot. Third, the Depth of Field is too deep. Opening your aperture more or using the portrait setting would help blur the background and keep your attention on the subject.
