I'd have cropped the screen on the right as I find it rather distracting, which is an issue considering the the challenge topic. That said, I think this is a great music shot.

Another shot at Claisebrook inlet if I'm not mistaken. I recognize the location because I was sat by the water there a couple of weeks ago shooting a kayak regatta.

I understand your frustration and I still think you have produced a wonderful image, however I see no reason for you to question the SC's common sense. The advanced editing rules couldn't be any more clear. Using PP to introduce motion (not just blur) is mentioned specifically.
