That is a lovely location and view. The mist and curve in the river give this photo a great potential to have a painterly effect placed on it with some post processing. I was looking in a magazine earlier today at an article about a New York photographer who uses images like this to great effect. I cannot lay my hands on the magazine or I would give you more information. It's at my mother-in-law's house...

That university was infamous for having the highest suicide rate of any British university, at one time. I am speaking of the mid 80s in the last century when I was a student at London University.

Nicely titled and fairly well composed. Starbucks? sneakers and communism - but after all, it was always about China rather than communism. Hence the reason Russians called the Chinese 'radish communists' - red on the outside and white on the inside.
