I think this might work better with either more or less of a silhouette. The problem is that I am drawn to the red tops of the cacti, but there isn't enough detail there. I think in this case, I would prefer less of a silhouette, rather than more. Fill flash (if you are able to use a high enough shutter speed) might work. Otherwise I like the composition and background. I could see this as a country album cover, but probably not with the band name ; )

I like the subject, but the composition doesn't quite work for me. It seems a little tight on the left and right sides. Some fill flash might have been able to clear up the shadows in the center as well. The colors and sky are great though.

I've got to get my saxophone out and take some pictures of it = P The ones I see here are so nice (including this one). I'm not sure I like the hat fading into the background though. A different colored hat might work better, combined with a frame (the red portion) matching the color.

A very aggressive photo, the white of the eyes and the teeth adds to the already well done contrasts in the shot. I like the font as well. I think it would be even better with the logo "EX" for explicit lyrics at the lower right = ) I think it would fit based on the cover shot.

The lighting here gives a nice contrast with the blue sky. I think the D P C text could be arranged a little better, maybe running along the beam as the "Shoot L.A." is. Nice job.

Since the cup of wine is the focus here, I think it might work well if it filled more of the frame. Still, I'm not certain if I'd rather see more of the cup or more of the couple (in focus).
