Christmas in redby srugoloComment: Great focus, lighting and color. The ribbon is cropped a little tight on the bottom (imho), I'd like to see the whole ribbon in the frame (ie, not include a longer ribbon, but cut it so it fits in the composition shown). Definitely a good candidate for a holiday catalog. |

Untitledby phylsy7Comment: I like the concept, but feel this would have been stronger if the focus had been on a non-transparent bulb, or if the background had been white (rather than the pink color) to add some contrast. Just my opinion though. |

Your Choice ...by tonyvComment: I like the slightly off-center composition. Good lighting and color as well. I could see this as a holiday catalog image (though maybe not the cover) - there's adequate space on top to put some text in as well (for use in a magazine that is). |

Fine Artby bryanbrazilComment: A lovely shot, but why the frame? It doesn't need it imho. Doesn't really directly associate with "holiday catalog", but still a nice shot. |

Nativityby GlouComment: I like the selective focus used, might be interesting to see the focal point on the manger as well (not sure which I'd prefer). Good lighting and composition as well. |

Australian Christmas - Fish and wineby John WhiteComment: Not being from Australia, I'm not sure about the connection to the challenge. Still, this is a really nice shot, very appetizing. Might crop a little tighter on the top to eliminate the horizon line. I like the tilted perspective though. |

Middle Eastern Hand Carved Mangerby cloudsmeComment: If possible, I'd bounce the flash here or use a slow shutter speed on a tripod to eliminate the shadows. A different crop might work well too, maybe showing more of the manger scene. |

Time For The Holidaysby hokieComment: Nice focus and subject. I'd like to see this cropped tighter on the top or at a different angle to have just the ice filling the frame (the background isn't really necessary imho). |
