I like that the white pencil blends into the white background, but I wish that you could have achieved the same effect with the red pencil fading into the red background, overall a nice shot though

Explanation: The pencil is "just there" (broken by the bulldozer....not really). I thought the roots and the live trees would make more of a message. I wasn't going for anything with the pencil specifically. It was just in the way of the "modernization" caused by the bulldozer, just as the trees are/were. Thanks to those who tried to figure it out though ; )
