Not much interest in this one for me, sure the right side eye is ok, but I find myself drawn to the middle of the head for some reason. It just strikes me as a very plain shot.

Oh man you could just about fall into those eyes! Pity about the blur at the back of the facing animal, I know it's hard when they move. You've certainly got your focus where it counts but the rest of the shot seems so busy it detracts a bit and you have to search for the focal point again. If the top section had been cropped off a bit more perhaps it would have looked a bit better IMO. Still an 8 from me though.

That's a better one of the hut/house. Great lighting on the guy, the parasail gives a point of interest in the sky which then refers you to the rest of the sky. Great colours, I like it!

Now this is what I dislike about HDR, taking a perfectly acceptable, tranquil scene with nice clouds and making it look like a disaster area. Good shot otherwise.

Oh that thousand yard stare. Very very nice, great detail, eyes are a bit dark though, kinda makes the stare impact less than it otherwise would, you know? Great DOF.

Just a touch too much HDR, the trees look a bit weird. Otherwise very very nice, great ominous cloud over the mountain.

The old wreck in the black sand

Because the wreck is in shadow I find myself drawn away from it towards the rest of the shot. If you could have used flash - I don't know how far away you were - it would have made the title subject a bit more impactful. The clouds and sunburst are nice.

Bit too bright. All I can see of her nose is the part around her nostrils. Not really that great an effect. Great expression and focusa though.
