This is just a picture of a picture in a frame, and not extremely well done. The harsh shadow that falls across the background was probably created by a flash. I just don't feel this is a photo but more just a copy of someone elses photo albeit it is in a frame. Sorry.

Classic, and nice looking. I like the tone you picked for the Duotone. Very nicely done. I would maybe have tried to level it off slightly, it looks like th scenery is just slightly tilting to the right. Maybe thats just me though. I like your composition. Good luck! -8-

The white in this photo is quite blown out, Softer lighting, possibly natural lihgt might have been nice. I also think that the kitten is a little on the blurry side, or maybe you used a softening filter? Try working on your lighting a bit...

The Castle

There seems to be barely any contrast here... it all kind of fades into one. I also think you should have thought more about the rule of thirds when cropping, there seems to me to be a lot of extraneous sky. I would have cropped down to just slightly above the highest tree on the right side. I also don't care for the power lines (?) running through the photo. Looks like an interesting subject though... I would suggest trying again with different angles and views of "the castle"

Duotone Self Portrait

Do you have a nice and an evil side? Hehehe... I like the light and the dark here... Very nicely done in that respect. The sepia looks slightly dark, but I think it fits with the photo well. I keep looking at this photo and it makes me think of Jekyll and Hyde. I really like the lighting.... The only real problem I see here is with the shadow from the glasses. It's slightly bothersome, also personally I think the white border does nothing for the photo. Very well done, good luck. -9-

You can see the reflection of the plane window on the right upper side of the photo, I don't feel there is enough contrast in this photo... it also looks fairly lopsided. Interesting pattern though.

GREAT macro... this was through a screen correct? it looks like it was, but I could be wrong. Wow... the details are incredible on this little guy... I really like the sepia tone as well. There's a tad bit too much light on the tip of his nose, and on the shoulder that is on the right side of the photo, but otherwise this was done really well. -9-

A Very Unusual Portrait

Very unusual and very interesting. I don't usually care for up the nostril shots, but I kind of like this one. Lots of texture in the lips, I think this photo is very well done. I like the sepia, although you could have made it just slightly less brown. Nicely done photo, with a different angle on what could have been a very plain subject. -8-
