In the Ninth Monthby GekkerComment: This is a wonderful piece of art which has been adjusted beautifully. I would be interested to know what has been done for the effect that you have going here. I would have rated it much higher if the detail had not have been lost on the back due to her shadows. The viewer is left guessing what is going on from her butt down and, at first, it is very un-flattering until you can figure out where her other leg is. |

Sally.......by undieyatchComment: I do like this picture, however I think that there is too much hair and nothing else really to look at but hair. Also the light from outside is very overbearing and the light on her back is not enough. It may have also been nice to have made more use of the curtains on the left... just to add to the interest of the shot. |

almost androgynousby grigrigirlComment: I think that you may have gone too far with your lighting of this picture - your blacks are too black where you lose any definition adn the whites are blown out - ie on the butt. However it is a nicely contrasted picture which offsets off the background. The pose is really good. |

Sun baskerby kiwinessComment: Fantastic pic! I love the falloff of the lighting, and the way your subject is offset yet blends in with the background. The color correct is fantastic - a very well executed and staged picture. I gave it 10. |

Feeling blueby p_johnsComment: Thanks for the votes everyone :) For those that are interested in how this was done, it was a shot that was taken with a 15 second exposure taken in three stages using my Nokia 8250. First stage was with me standing outside the shot totally just putting my hand in to write the B with the phone facing the camera. To get to the second stage I covered the phone with my hand and positioned it, then write the 'lue'. Then for the final stage, the pic of me holding the 'light', I covered the phone again and had a marker on the ground where I rested my back on the wall, positioned the phone roughly where I thought the 'B' would start and faced the phone AWAY from the camera, illuminating the wall as well. It took about 120 shots!!! |

Zero spot editing. How? by kiwinessComment: Fantastic picture! This is a guess, but I'm guessing that its trick photography... that's not water coming out of the glass, its air. The glass is upside-down in water and its been tilted sideways to let the air out? Thought it fit best for the challenge and gave it a 10. |
