new bornby ZemmComment: Unfortunately there is one other photo of a marsupial and their detail is crisper and the tighter crop does add to the image. This photograph looks a little snapshotty, probably because the shadow is obscuring the main focus of the image, namely the joey. |

New Growthby wardComment: The flowers are crisp however there is nothing that really gives the impression of new. Also the image doesn't have anything that really inspires the viewer. Just some flowers with a grey background. Flowers are always risky for challenges as there are just so many entries. |

New Growth...by littlegettComment: There are many similar shots in this challenge, therefore in order to get a really high mark, the image would have to be perfectly focused and jump and at you and also any excess distraction is removed. Unfortunately yours is a little off on both these accounts. |

A Tiny Miracleby melissiaComment: A bizarre photograph, obviously 'new' and very uniquely portrayed. My critisism is only that it looks too 'photoshoped' and the eye doesn't really know where to focus.... on the baby or the bright red dots. |

Hopeby hektorComment: I like the concept, when looking at the photo you are drawn to the shoots first which is good, however, I then get lost in the rest of the photo and everything just blends into everything else. So when I now look back to the main subject, it isn't popping out at me. Maybe a great DOF or a tighter angle (lower to the floor) would have helped. |

Orange Flowerby iraniangirlComment: As there are some many flower photos on this website, I feel they really have to shine to stand out. Personally, I'd crop tighter to avoid the mud in the top right. Also, it doesn't stand out as being something new, but it doesn't affect my score. |

Inside.by hannahgirl12Comment: I wish I got the purpose of this photo, assuming that it is a new photo idea that you've never tried before. ?!? in terms of the photo, the grass at the front that is out of focus is quite off putting, also you might as well make use of the full size to get the greatest impact. I hope your comments explain what its all about :) |

NEW(s) every dayby redpandaComment: I'm not sure that the selective desat has added anything to this photo, I like the idea, the image however, comes across a bit 'snapshotty'. |

self portaitby alpharichComment: The strong back shadow ruins this photo for me and also you can see where you've tried to cut out the face, especially on the cheek bone. |

godspellby skewsmeComment: A bit too grainy for my tastes, also the light cast doesn't really add to the photo |
