pizzazz by ursulaComment: We all get tired of the same flower shots, but this one stands out to me and seems unique. The use of primary colors, angled flower, shiny vase, and great use of the shallow dof all help to make this shot work really well. One of my top picks for this challenge. Well done! |

Downyby spydrComment: I like the "inverse" thinking with the b/w bird and colorful background. Colors in the back look a bit unreal, but the fact that they pop so much works for this shot. Focus is great... love the feather detail, spots and tree bark. One of my top picks for this challenge. Well done! |

Color Wheelby bowhennComment: Colors seem a bit flat, I'd like to see them 'pop!' a little more. But I like the idea with the colored foods. |

Flower Burstby SandyPComment: The blurred and focused sections seem to inconsistent and with very harsh edges. |

Mantlepieceby shamrockComment: Interesting framing... I wish the shadows weren't quite so harsh here, but you did a good job getting the white the same shade the whole way across. |

layers of blueby hopperComment: Too much processing made the stem and parts of the petals look strangely colored. Perhaps blurring or darkening those areas could help conceal it? Top of the rose has great focus and shadows though. |

INDIAN SALTY DISH(DALL)by sandeepsalwan45Comment: A nice bowl and a tablecloth would have helped the presentation of this dish. A tripod or timer setting on the camera might have helped the blur. |

Pork Chop Thursdaysby MidnightVoodooComment: I like the idea behind this one, of the pork chop cooking over the open flame.. but I think it gets a bit lost way back there. I would also turn the date imprint off before taking shots for the challenge. |
