Nice composition. Good range of tones. I ranked this high. I wonder what it would be like framed tighter- from the hands up? I don't know but having so much going on takes away from the model- who is very good. I like this shot.

This is a classic portrait. Not a studio shot, it has 'life' that often gets lost in set-piece traditional head shots. You were also able to bring so much of the detail out that it really adds to the shot. Great range of tones. I've looked at this a bunch of times and I'm bumping this up. Great image!

B&W portraiture is my favorite. This really works for me- the noise works to your advantage. The only thing I'd like to see is a different composition/framing. Dead center shots always put you at risk of the 'mug-shot' syndrome. It's not my shot, but I'd like to see his eyes pop and maybe that collar, it might also give it a different feel. This is a great shot and I didn't want this to end without letting you know that. Great photo.

Another great, anti-portrait, candid portrait. I like the noise, I think it works well. You got a little blow out but it gives you the bright whites you needed. I ranked this very high and although cleavage usually helps scores I think it's a 'wash' in this shot. Great entry!

I ranked this very, very high. Selfishly, I would like to see more of the detail. Great model. I wish you didn't have to reduce the image quality to get it to fit in the challenge guidelines. The angles work well, classic. Didn't want this to end without letting you know how good I thought this ended up being. Great photo.

I really like this one. Some of it has gotten blown out but I think the range of tones is very good. I didn't want this to end without letting you know that I thought it was a very, very good image. Good job.

I don't care what others might say, I REALLY like this and wanted to let you know so before the contest ends. It's the anti-portrait, portrait and for me it works well. I'll be interested to see how others viewed this. I don't care... I like it. Good job.

You'll probably get hammered for the high key lighting but I think it works. Makes for an interesting study in contrast and composition. I ranked this high and just wanted to let you know so before the contest ends. Thanks for entering this.

I've looked at this a bunch of times. I'm not that bright, I can't get the significance of the hose. When it's all over this is one I'm coming back to read more about. I really like it and ranked it high but wanted to come back and let you know before the contest was over- great job!

I think you took a chance and it paid off. Look at the eye. Superior. Great tone/lighting with that high upper right, bright white to the opposite corner almost black. All done, I'm sure by design. This will end up finishing very high. Great job. Thanks for this one.
