The cellby Jaded_HousewifeComment: Great shot. The lighting, the framing, the image emerging from the darkness. Incredible, keeper. The cloth/garment tossed on the bunk gives it all life. Nice, nice shot. |

An amazing little story...by jdannelsComment: Great shot/conversion. How do you get that inner 'mat' cut? I think this is better in B&W, but I'm kind of partial to that format any way. Very, very nice photo. |

Noraby mia67Comment: Nice shot- the only thing that I'd like to see brought out is the eyes, but that's probably what you've done on purpose. Those eyes are dark AND deep. Great photo. |

Lonely Shedby bbower1956Comment: Great job on the sky. There is so much going on in all those different shades and the contrast really adds. This is exceptionally good as far as I'm concerned. Would make a great print. |

I looked through your portfolio again. We like similiar shots- photos that resonate with emotion (at least that's what I get from them). I starting shooting in the mid-70's. You're way ahead of me. Thanks for your comments. |

High praise (I've seen your work) AND from someone who knows their guitars. There are more guitars living in our house than people- and we're not a small family. I really wish I could somehow capture how deep the connection is between player and instrument. We all play but somehow this one, the youngest can 'play' and you can feel it. I'm really going to work on this as a little project, I'd appreciate any suggestions you might have if you ever have time. Guitar and player. Thanks for taking time to comment. |

Michael 9-28by DrKDBComment: It's kind of strange, but the best shots of him are almost always the serious, melancholy ones. I appreciate your comments. |

Death Gripby CalliopeKelComment: Powerful image. I was skimming through the portraits section to get (steal) some ideas and this hit- wow. Great shot. |
