Krystalby KelliComment: Good directional lighting. The sunlight on her hair is perfectly positioned to bring her out of the background. You really needed to add some diffused light to the front. If you dont have a flash you can provide some fill with. Run to the store and pick up one of them fold up reflectors for car windshields. Preferably one in gold and one in silver. Sit it in front of her and bring out some detail in the beautiful face, it will also add a bit of a catchlight in her eyes. |

Paulieby timfythetooComment: Good use of directional lighting to bring some detail to his face. I also like the nice clean background. There is one thing that bothers me though. Its not full length its not mid length, its not tight. Its almost like you couldnt decide how to shoot it so you went somewhere in the middle. To me its an odd crop. I'd like to either see it full length, or cut at the waist, with the arms in a different position. He seems a bit stiff and put off that you are taking his photo. I find the hardest thing to working with people is getting everyone to relax. Including myself. |

Girl Oneby Pug-HComment: I like the use of DOF, I like the sharpness and colors. I wish there were a bit of an expression on her face. She almost looks mad that you are taking her photo. Watch the background as well, the blue thing behind and to the right is a bit distracting even though its OoF. |

Kiddos.jpgby Patrick_RComment: I like the shot with a couple of small touches, a reflector to camera left would have filled a bit of detail that is lost in the boys right side of the face. I think I might have also burned the lettering above the top of the photo as it tries to draw my eye there. |

Against An Angry Skyby LadyKComment: I think a pop of warm flash to the front of this while still metering for the background would really make this stand out. As a silo I'm not so much drawn tot he subject as the background which competes for my eyes attention. |

~ Seahorse ~by hihosilverComment: You know while many may be critical of this photo. I actually really like it. Its very much not the normal static shot, and works for me. |

The Princeby violinist123Comment: Maybe just a touch too much in the processing of what is an otherwise beautiful image. |
