She is a beautiful model, and has a 'Mona Lisa' thing happening with that enigmatic smile...and I agree with Melethia's advice for processing. |

Beautiful all the way. Love the story and just the way the picture is, but I know nothing of portrait photography, just that I like the subtle quality of the light painting your model's features, which seems to fit the story of just emerging from braces/youth. |

Good directional lighting. The sunlight on her hair is perfectly positioned to bring her out of the background. You really needed to add some diffused light to the front. If you dont have a flash you can provide some fill with. Run to the store and pick up one of them fold up reflectors for car windshields. Preferably one in gold and one in silver. Sit it in front of her and bring out some detail in the beautiful face, it will also add a bit of a catchlight in her eyes. |

This looks slightly underexposed on my monitors. She has traits that remind me of photographs I see of women from the 20's or 30's. She would make a great model for those types of shots. This shot is very soft but very fitting with the side lighting from the sun. Very moody. |

Very pretty and soft. Looks like an old fashioned portrait. I love the way the light hits her hair. She is a lovely model, very classic beauty.I think this is my favorite so far! |

Very pretty. I love softness and the glow on her hair. I don't know why, but this shot made me think of a mermaid. Just has a soft air of mystery and magic about it. |

This is quite the portrait considering how difficult it was to shoot her. If there were a bit more light on her face it would be even better. |

She has a 'classic' beauty, like she just stepped out of a painting. Maybe a bit more light on the face, but the light falling on her hair is great. Very delicate. |

First off, she is a BEAUTIFUL young woman - real, honest beauty. Excellent job getting her to smile (and it's a lovely smile) and eye contact - particularly since her eyes are gorgeous. I like the softness of this - it seems to suit her shyness a bit. But you may want to try a bit stronger processing on this one - add some contrast, increase saturation to bring out more color, dodge her eyes just a wee bit to bring out the shine. And do keep shooting her - she's a lovely model!! |
