Shot my first wedding... Yikes! This was my shot of the ring bearer and flower girl. Single light strobits lit.

The side light gets an interesting sort of DOF with this shot. I like that you can just make out the BG in this, to give it some reference point.

I like the shot with a couple of small touches, a reflector to camera left would have filled a bit of detail that is lost in the boys right side of the face. I think I might have also burned the lettering above the top of the photo as it tries to draw my eye there.

The expressions you captured on their faces are exactly what you'd expect of a little boy and girl at a wedding. I love the 'softness' of this photo, it works really well w/ the subject matter.

I thought this looked like a basement shot you did with your kids upon first glance. The lighting is what made me think this, it seems overly dramatic for this setting. I like the shot very much as art, actually. The fact they are sitting apart from each other gives off a chilly/cold feeling, not something you see at a wedding but their looks fit this pose perfectly. I wouldn't mind seeing this with the top and bottom cropped out.

I like the "formality" of their poses, and how they actually look stiff and uncomfortable. I know that is usually the opposite of what you try to achieve with kid pics, but it works really well here. The side of his face is just a bit too shadowed, for my taste. If it were just him, I think it would be okay, and would even be a nice effect. However, since the flower girl's face is not as shadowed, it looks a little off-balanced to me.

Very cute subjects! I love the looks you have captured on both of their faces. He looks like he'd much rather be off playing baseball and she is content just looking like an princess.

Lol with the two expressions here, this almost reminds me of that painting "American Gothic" - now all they need is a pitchfork. I think it is the smirky face that they have where we would expect only festive and joyous looks to match the occasion. Really, those looks they are giving you are priceless. I love the clarity of the two and the lighting looks cool. I bet the rest of your wedding photos look awesome. Congrats on making it thru your first wedding shoot!

I bet you're relieved it's over! Overall I really like the lighting, it really makes them stand out against the background. A bit more light on the boy's right side would even it out nicely.

Lol the boy looks like there's a xbox somewhere he'd rather be sitting in front of. Very delicate lighting here, though the left edge of the boy's face is a bit heavy on the shadows. Wider crop might let this breathe a bit also (assuming this was cropped). OVerall really nice.

I like this. They look very serious. Lighting on the boy's right side (left in photo) could be better. It's hard to tell where his right arm is.

I think the quirkiness makes the shot! The boys expression is priceless!

A reflector to bring some light to the shadow side of the boy could have been nice. But I do like this shot. Great expressions, cool feel. While not a happy wedding type shot this works for me.

I really like the lighting. It looks like ambient through a window in the church. The kids look a little quirky - reminds me of The Royal Tenenbaums :)

Hope your shots came out well :) I like this but it seems just a little dark and solemn for a wedding, but what do I know :)
