Blue by MollyComment: Lighting seems a bit harsh, and I'm not sure what the actual product is. |

Speed that Thrillsby rlewisComment: Product shots would normally not have selective focus. The main idea is to show the whole product. |

Cat #56704 - Wild Boarby dougi555Comment: Very Nice product shot. Although I wishe there was a bit more detail in the underside rather then darker shadows. The low angle shows the area, but there isnt any detail there. |

Craftsman 14pc Socket Setby dtremainComment: You need to look into getting a book called Light, Science Magic. Its an amazing book that teaches how to shoot very reflective surfaces, by teaching about angles of reflections and lighting techniques. You have really lost too much detail in the front ratchet. |

Girl Twoby Pug-HComment: Was the face underexpsed due to the harsh lighting and brought back? The face seems flat and lacks contrast while the hat has blown highlights. When shooting in mid day, find shade to shoot in and then use fill flash to bring out the details. |

Portrait-01.jpgby KenComment: I have to agree with Jac, the focus to me is on the glasses, not the eyes. I love the peering over the glasses, wish they were down just a touch further down, and the focus on the eyes. Otherwise beautiful. |

Yawn.jpgby LonniComment: Nice use of DOF to isolate the subject. This photo, pose, and crop would be priceless(not that it isnt now) if she had a smile and a twinkle in her eye. |

Number 1.jpgby karmatComment: What a cutie! Two quick suggestions, crop tighter, only seeing a part of the bow is distracting, either lose it all together or make sure its all there. Other thing, watch the background. Hit an angle that gives her good sidelighting but looses the extra blues from other uniforms in the back. |

Bigger Than Meby bvyComment: cool shot, especially for shooting from the hip. Street candids with backlighting make it tough since you dont want the flash giving away what you are doing. Manual mode would help this, as long as you knew which direction(into the light or with it to the side or back) you were going to shoot. |
