Very nice Pigeon. Not your typical Pigeon from my area, so it's nice to view one that I wouldn't typically see.

Yes even with the 400MM F2.8 it's all handheld.

Very nice architecture on that. Old victorian style is very nice to see in such good shape!

Trust me there are plenty of "crap lighting" shots. A great friend and fellow photographer told me once. If you really want to be known as a great photographer some day, you have to realize that everyone takes crappy, terrible shots. But a true professional only shows the great ones to people he wants to become clients. :D

I didn't vote, but had I I would have added to the 4 or 5 row of votes. To me it's processed too far. Takes a decent photo(your outtake) and makes it not as appealing. Just because the challenge is advanced doesn't mean you have to use all of the tools available.

Nice capture, but the noise/grain really distracts. Not sure if its over sharpening, large crop, or just plain noise from high ISO.

Impossible! We chased her around the studio for an hour and got about 25 keepers from the session in a few different outfits. We were all wore out by the end of the hour session. The bad thing about this age 12months is they are just getting active and they don't want to give up a freedom they just got!
