Greetings from the critique club. I'm really not sure what to say about this image. I mean the voters liked it and commented on it, not sure what else a member of the CC can offer to help you. The only thing that I do notice is that its not really symmetrical as the lower left side is larger then the right side, I think thats a result not being straight on with pen. Otherwise its been well recieved by the voters and I like the post processing.

Greetings from the critique club. Congrats on meeting the challenge with the voters and score on the 6+ with this nice image.

A couple of things I'd liked to have seen done to the image during PP to help the scoring would be a reduction in the amount of USM done or some more Neat image to clear up that background noise. It really takes away from what is otherwise a wonderful image. I'd also suggest using a thin white, then just a touch thicker black border to help the image stand out a bit more. Overall pretty well done and again congrats on the finish.

Greetings from the Critique Club.

First congrats on the top 10 finish. I love the angle of the shot the intensity of it is great. Nice framing to bring it into the challenge as well.

Only things I'd suggest to make it a bit better is that the focus seems to be just in front of the eyes in the middle of the nose area. I'd have suggested prior to shooting the image to pick a spot within the eye to shoot, I'd also go with a 2 part white/black border to help the image stand out a bit from it. Otherwise well done.

I like the lighting and the focus is dead on with this shot. I just wish I could see his face in the shot as well.

I like the leading line of the rope to the Skier, however I wish he was in focus.

I like the nice tight shot this one has. i'm not so sure that the editing works for me though. I'm not sure if its a highlights/shadows adjustment or neat image but something just seems off about the shot. Still I like it enough to give it a 7

This is a classic swimming shot with great timing focus and exposure. Very well done. I'm going to guess this may be Skips entry. If its not please take that as a compliment.
