Yes, this does work much better in B&W, the textures of the wood and that spectacular metal are enhanced a ton in this version. I am assuming you are a husband and wife team, you won hands down, IMO :). This was/is my only ten this week.

Ok, so this is the same shot as the other door, but in color? The black and white version works better, IMO, it does a better job at bringing out the texture in the wood and the metal. This seems a bit too dark.

Very cool. The squares at the bottom look a little wider then the ones up top, were you exactly centered underneath? I think it would be a little stronger if it were totally symetrical, but still a strong shot.
