50's Street Raceby autoolComment: I do not think the engine was on. There is no way you could keep the focus of this engine when you open it up like you did. This thing would be shakin like a Tikle me Elmo. Nice Job. |

I think this shot has good intentions. There are certain things that I do not agree with, but that may go along with personal oppinions. It is just a shame that the people swinging the fire or lights were not a little more still while swinging. To me that adds a bit of visual unsatisfaction so to speak. The towns people are a choice. They show that there is intrest in what is going on in the picture. I think it would have fared better to get the top of the thing the front guy is twirling.

I do not feel in my oppinion that this picture portrays motion that well.
The background is a bit low key as far as its purpose for this shot.
I am surprised with all the snow that you could not get a good bounce of light into the Darker dogs face. That would have set up a better looking shot. Appears to me that the wrong dog is wearing the harness.

Personally I feel there is something missing here. I think the picture itself would have fared better with more picture on the left side than the right. It gives a better sense of direction and in turn fits the theme of the challenge a tad bit more. Now was there anything that could have been caught in the background that would have given us a nice blur when the chopper is passing it. I just feel that there is a lacking element. I had several shots just like this one that I was thinking about for this challenge, so I know how hard it is to get a shot like this.

Focus here goes without saying. I think that you had an opportunity for a good shot. Personally, and this is my oppinion, I feel that the focal point is not worthy for a motion challenge. I am not saying that the Idea is bad. Not just one I would have experimented with. I think with a little bit ofe tweaking and a different theme in mind you could turn this bad boy into a postcard. Is there a Lighthouse on the other side of this grass. Now that would be a nice shot. Pull back a bit to expose a lighthouse behind the grass.
