This is a six second exposure of the manifold and carbs for my '55 Chevy Cameo. I used one photo flood at quite a distance to get the exposure lengthened, to show some degree of motion in the throttle linkage.

Thanks Natasha, I appreciate the time and effort it takes you to do these. I will try your suggestions, I also think they are what I should have done.
Keep up the good work and good luck to you also.

You have done a great job of depicting motion and your idea was both unique and unusual. I love the use of B/W not only cause I am a fan of B/W but also cause it totally suits the subject . You did a great job of controlling the light on the chrome, I am sure that took a while not to have the lighter parts of the metal blown out, however I think a bit more contrast overall would have been good and might have emphasised the motion even more. As the content of this picture is so strong and hard, this would have been very powerful with strong contrast and slightly sharpened edges. I think overall you took a great picture, even though personally machines are not my thing, the composition and original approach to@motion has impact. Good Luck in the next challenge!

I do not think the engine was on. There is no way you could keep the focus of this engine when you open it up like you did. This thing would be shakin like a Tikle me Elmo. Nice Job.

Really nice photo, but I think the tiny boarder kind of ruins it, but I'll just judge on the photo. I think black and white was a great choice for this, but I think you should have darkened it a bit and added more contrast in PS, as at the moment the tones aren't very vibrant. Still an 8 score though. Great work.
