Waiting to be free...by fsieradzkiComment: Tough exposure to control. The lens flare is distracting. Maybe a lens hood or shielding of the sun from the lens with your hand with or without a hood may have helped? Shooting at a different time of day (I would guess this photo was shot at mid day), or at an angle away from the sun may have given you more control of the light also. Your primary subject has excessive blown highlights. I still like the idea for it's simplicity. |

Whoa Horsyby debcardComment: This looks like a tough subject to photograph. The prime subject is overexposed to the point of blowing out most of the detail. |

Get Me Down! by joebarComment: Talk about capturing the moment! Good work. The only things that would have made this photo better were things you probably could not control. Excellent work. |

Looking up at Yellow flowersby DominicComment: I applaud your work here. I love this natural look. Though there are other elements in the background, your depth of field draws the eye to the primary subject nicely. Thanks for not over post processing the image. I think you should be in contention for recognition. Keep up the good work. |

Radio Power!by pnichollsComment: I like the concept here. Excellent composition. I like the natural look of the scene. You caught a great piece of sky and exposed for it will keeping the tower well exposed. If you would have focused just beyond the hyperfocal distance to keep the radio in focus you would have had a winner by my eye. I rated this photo high. Keep up the good work. |

Texas Indian Blanketsby marcelleComment: This photo almost looks like a painting. The flowers look like they are dancing in celebration of spring. I typically would be critical of the lack of sharp focus on the subject, however in this case the soft focus seems to work for me. There seem to be quite a few artifacts in the image. I'm not sure whether they are due to post processing or jpeg compression? Having said all of that, I still like the photo overall and rated it high. |

The Oppressor?by mykolearyComment: Cool. Very powerful image. Greyscale works well here. Great depth of field and sharpness. Very natural looking. I can imagine the sculpturer "chipping away" to create this job. Keep it up! |
