The Voters Rights Act of 1965by robaComment: Great idea and pretty good execution. Unfortunately, I think that the noise/grain effect is so overdone that it detracts from an otherwise very powerful and well done image. |

U2 - First Mission 1956by atupdateComment: Nice clear shot of the U2, we can guess that the lighting was very difficult, and the choices of perspective limited. Probably tough for DPC, but I appreciate the effort, especially as a fellow aviation buff, and it's nicely done under the circumstances. |

Best Picture 1974 - The Godfather Part IIby CitadelComment: Good idea and pretty good execution, interesting lighting. I also had a problem with wrinkles/creases on my backdrop, and wished for a bigger room for DOF separation, or advanced editing. |

Walkgirl-1979by anotherdayComment: Good idea, pretty good execution. How about a slightly looser pose that's clearly dancing, and more eyes are almost always better. |

Germany 1975by tolovemoonComment: The title seems fitting, but we need a little help - what happened in Germany in 1975? A quick google search didn't show an obvious match - not tours by Bill Monroe nor Thin Lizzy. Help? |

1949 - Australia 45KW Muscle Carby CraftyComment: Vintage looking car, fitting for the challenge. Wish you would have pulled it out for better lighting and a better setting, as it is, the car looses a bit to the brightly lit house and fence. |

CodeName- Smiling Buddhaby sridpcComment: From Wikipedia - Smiling Buddha was the first nuclear test explosion by India on May 18, 1974 at Pokhran. Something more than the title would help, perhaps a backdrop of a mushroom cloud? Also, it would be better than the busy background here. |

Full Metal Jacketby klsafblueComment: Powerful movie. But how the table and fence fit together with the movie isn't obvious to me - how about one or two fitting elements - a rifle, army helmet, rounds of ammunition, ammo can, etc.? |
