This is my sister, I am very thankful that she was willing to model for me. She had a beautiful baby boy just a few hours before voting started on thursday night. I want to thank everybody for the best set of comments I have ever gotten, made for a wonderful week.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

FIRST IMPRESSION:
Beautiful flowers

COMPOSITION:
Nice simple shot of the flowers. My only suggestion here would be to try cropping a smidge off the bottom, top and a bit off the left side.

TECHINICAL:
Very nice dof. I like how the eye is led from the bottom right up and out to the top left. Dof is underestimated on this site, and you used it very nicely. I like how the focus is on the flowers on the right, and great focus too. Nice use of natural sunlight, I think it worked quite well for you. I would however, try boosting the hue on green, it makes the flowers stand out more, and the background nicer.

OVERALL IMPRESSOIN:
A nice picture but lacking that wow factor that makes for winning photographs. I do however think that this has a lot of potential with just a few minor adjustments.

(btw, my first critique club critique, hope your not too disappointed.)

I'm afraid to comment too much on this because I'm afraid that this was just taken with a cheap camera and that the problems with it are related to that. ie. grainy, not sharp etc...So the only prob I see not related to camera is that it was cropped too close to the bottom, not really even.

My Pi(e) are squared.
