Greetings from the Critique Club!

FIRST IMPRESSION:
Beautiful flowers

COMPOSITION:
Nice simple shot of the flowers. My only suggestion here would be to try cropping a smidge off the bottom, top and a bit off the left side.

TECHINICAL:
Very nice dof. I like how the eye is led from the bottom right up and out to the top left. Dof is underestimated on this site, and you used it very nicely. I like how the focus is on the flowers on the right, and great focus too. Nice use of natural sunlight, I think it worked quite well for you. I would however, try boosting the hue on green, it makes the flowers stand out more, and the background nicer.

OVERALL IMPRESSOIN:
A nice picture but lacking that wow factor that makes for winning photographs. I do however think that this has a lot of potential with just a few minor adjustments.

(btw, my first critique club critique, hope your not too disappointed.)
Good luck in future challenges!
Gekker

I don't think I've ever seen these before. They are quite pretty. The DOF and focus works very nicely in my opinion. I like how it goes from bottom right up. the detail you show us in the leaf on the very bottom is quite nice. I like the colors. the yellow/white/green works well. Nice shot. ~Heather~

Good job on composition, but I think the flowers in the foreground should be more in focus. Also perhaps a bit more color or contrast ?

Green, yellow and white complement each other very well and you 've taken full advantage of this. I've always wondered what primroses look like and now I know thank you - Gary.

Love the composition and use of dof. Would like to have seen a little more light on bloom in foreground, if I would change anything.

beautiful flowers but need more cropping on the left, the 3 in focus are perfect!
