An African Promiseby PointComment: I really like the composition of this, and the silhouetted shapes, but the sky does absolutely nothing for me. Shame, a more natural sky would have scored much better. |

After the stormby marboComment: Not Brighton pier *again*!!! How cliche. LOL.
Now that I've got that outta my system, this is the best shot I've seen of the collapsed pier yet. Wow, that's one heck of a mess. Mother nature will always win in the end.
Great shot, well done. |

Evening Weather Report for UT, Austin: Beautiful!by paganiniComment: Love the 'star' effect on the sun, I wanna know how to do it!
The only downside to this shot is that the water coming from the fountain looks more like mud! A combination of it being dark and the red light.
Still, a great shot, and I do like that sun : ) |

blowing in the dark.by RSaluComment: There's a lot of things I like in this shot - the 'beams' on the sun (how do you do that?!), the impression of motion on the turbine (or is that just me?!) and the dramatic clouds.
The only thing I don't like is the clump of trees on the right, I would crop those off.
Great shot, well done. |

Lunch time in Spring snowby cathysappComment: Shame the focus is behind the squirrel, and that he's right at the bottom of the frame. Would have been a great shot otherwise. Still, I know how difficult these fellas are to catch on camera so well done for that. |

Windby GordonComment: A shame it's blacked out at the top, but it gives a great impression of a strong wind.
Nicely composed and I like the colour. Good focus/sharpness on the tail. Nice shot, well done. |

Refracted Smiliesby JackoComment: This is great.
I love what's happened to the smileys in the glasses. Would maybe have worked even better if shot exactly straight on. |

Red or Orange?by Pep VentosaComment: Neat idea.
A very different angle to shoot the bridge from, and good contrast with the pencils in the foreground. A shame the orange one isn't straight, but there's nothing else wrong with this shot. |

A Streak of Lightby mariomelComment: What a cool idea. Original, and a great way of showing colour.
I would have prefered a tighter framing, losing the bottom of the vases, to make it more abstract, but that's probably just personal taste.
Great shot, well done. |

Snapdragonsby BudweezerComment: Now that's how to do a flower photo (in my book at least).
Superb composition and use of DoF. Lovely colours. Great shot, 10, well done. |
