Hiding under the bridgeby kama0529Comment by rachelellen: Interesting composition, but the blown highlights and the bit of the boat do detract from the image, in my opinion. The eye is drawn quite successfully forward by the arching underside of the bridge, but then it's drawn to something you can't quite make out because of brightness. I know from experience that this kind of shot is really difficult to expose; your effort here is pretty good. :) |

Secret textingby kama0529Comment by okiesisi: Greetings from the critique Club!!
The composition of the portrait is lovely. The idea that her expression and placement convey is very interesting for the viewer. The editing in the hair makes it almost appear like lines of tiny dots. It is an interesting effect, one that the voters at DPC will either love or hate. The focus seems to be on her hair, taking away from her face. There is a lot of noise and pixilation in her face and the background, while it can be acceptable in the background, on her face it looks like a lot of green and brown spots. It looks like a small picture blown up very big. Fits the challenge perfectly. Overall, a nice portrait that encountered some promlems in post-processing.
Nice work and keep shooting!

Secret textingby kama0529Comment by Jutilda: This is grainy, overexposed and not clear at all. She has lovely hair and features and in the right light and with clear focus, this would really work. |

Secret textingby kama0529Comment by ttreit: I like the angle and how she is looking down. The title gives clues to what she's doing. I'm not sure if you were trying to pull off an over processed look on purpose, but it doesn't work for me. |
