Remembranceby JutildaComment: Love the pop of white that emerges from the warm dark browns. The overlay really brings out the textures on the petal of the flower making it much more noticible. |

Goldenby JutildaComment: Love the soft light coming in from the window. The green and gold hues of the outside are also pleasing to the eye. The gold vase really captures my eye - interesting - I like how the shape of the window pulls in the upper left corner is about the same as the shape of the vase. |

Freckle Faceby JutildaComment: Great capture of emotion! I've seen those staring 'sad soulful puppy dog' eyes many a time and we are such a sucker for them. |

Wildfireby JutildaComment: Love the processing, the tones and textures give this a feel of a pleasant and warm memory. I think of an elderly cowboy fondly remembering his favorite horse. |

Bano de Lluvia en Mexicoby JutildaComment: The motion of the rain gives the photo a painterly feel. The color tones also help with giving a feel of a rainy day caught on canvas. |

it rained todayby JutildaComment: He looks like he is really pining to go outside. A nice slice of life capture that shows the emotion of our canine friends. |

Lonely Planet by ecmguyComment: Didn't have time to comment while in voting. Coming back to this image - very beautiful, surreal, and otherworldly. The play of light and shadows is fantastic! Glad that this got in the top 3 and that you came back safely from the encounter. |

Meditationby DudskiComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Very nice colors and a zen like mood with the meditating person in the shot. I think that this photo could be even stronger in visual if it was cropped/framed on the vertical. It would then complement the straight line of the person and keep the eye centered on the two main subjects of the shot - the sun and the meditator. As it is now I think there is too much empty space off on either side that do very little for the visual impact of the shot. |

the things you can seeby mitalapoComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Nice moment between the two people (father and son is a guess). The eldest is pointing out something to the youngest. It is a moment of learning and discovery. I think the photo could be even stronger if you cropped closer so that you eliminate most of the distracting glare on the rocks and bring your audience closer to the people who are the main subject of the shot. |
