 I had to give equal time to my 11.5 year old Aussie, Summer. She doesn't like to have the camera in her face b ut managed to rest her head on her paw long enough for me to take this.

Did a grunge layer in soft light mode to brighten it up a smidge. Also did some tonal contrast work in Color Efex Pro 3, and worked on the eyes a bit. :~)

Great capture of emotion! I've seen those staring 'sad soulful puppy dog' eyes many a time and we are such a sucker for them.

She was patient but I can tell from here eyes she wanted the whole thing over ASAP LOL!! Great capture Judy!

she's gorgeous judy ... those eyes look so soulful and beautiful .. i can just see her snout .. i love dog's snouts .. i think they're incredibly cute and funny too .. !!:)

Judy - you did a very good edit on your Summer- the eyes say it all. We have our 12 year old Labrador- Zeke on the down- side now & every day we have with him is a gift...never apologise for a pet portait - always a fave with me :)
